 What's the Difference Between a Single-sided and a Dual-sided Fargo Printer? The Single-sided printers can only print one side of a card, while the dual-sided ones can print double pages of a card in one move automatically. It is because that the dual-sided printers have one more flipping plate than the single-sided Printer. What is a Retransfer Printer?
Retransfer card printer adds a piece of transfer printing reverse film and the printer head does not directly contact with ID cards. In the process of printing, the information will be printed on the transfer printing film and then melt on the card. Many difficulties are solved by this step. Firstly, the printer head will not be damaged because it will not directly contact with the card. Secondly, it will not leave margins, realizing edge –to – edge printing.
